More OUT than IN...

Hi folks...it's the last day of the working week for us Monday to Friday 9 to 5'ers but I'm afraid I've been more OUT of the cubbyhole than IN...it's been a skiving off week...OUT with friends for lunch on Tuesday...OUT for coffee yesterday and today...yes it's Friday...OUT with my gad-about chums for lots of fun...frolics and feasting. But I did manage to sneak IN to the cubbyhole long enough to get inky with the bundle of new Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz stamp sets...
I'm starting off with the stamp sets that are shipping NOW to craft stores near you
MOTIVATION 1 and 2
MOTIVATION 1
I used the Screwed stencil from Mini Layering Stencil Set 29 with Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink to create the background. I reapplied the stencil and used Versamark Ink and Silver Embossing Powder to create dimension and decorated with Mini Brads. I splattered the background with Candied Apple Distress Ink and inked around the edge with Walnut Stain. I stamped the sentiment twice with Candied Apple and Blueprint Sketch...embossed with clear embossing powder and cut out to create word tiles and stencilled one of the pointy fingers from the Direction Mini Stencil...also from Set 29 with Black Soot and Walnut Stain Distress Ink and cut out.
 MOTIVATION 2
I stamped the sentiment with Black Archival in the centre of the card using the Misti for placement and again on to masking paper. With the masking paper in place I used the Roses stencil from Mini Layering Stencil Set 25 with Fossilized Amber Distress Ink to create the background and splattered with Black Soot Distress Ink.
I die cut a Sizzix/Tim Holtz Stitched Rectangle from card coloured with Fossilized Amber. I replaced the card in the Misti and centred the die cut on top...masked off the card either side of the die cut with copy paper and restamped the sentiment so that it matched up perfectly...inked around the edge with Black Soot Distress Ink and fixed in place with 3D foam pads...
for the second card...I used the mini blending tool with Fossilized Amber to create the large dots on the background...the Rose stencil around the edge and stamped the sentiment in the centre.

I'm on a mission to knuckle down next week and get lots more projects done...just one little hiccup lunch date on Wednesday and then I'll be firing up the cubbyhole production line...the weather forecast is not looking good so time to batten down the hatches...put the kettle on and get inky.
In the meantime...enjoy your weekend and I'll be back on Monday with my DT project for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and remember you still have to time to join in the fun with the chance to win a $50 shopping spree.
Toodle-oo for now
