Take a deep breath...

Hi folks...I'm mightily relieved that the missing Fiskars samples parcel has finally found it's way back home after it's 5 week adventure....more than a little bit battered and bruised and probably just as traumatised by the Hermes experience as I have been.
thankfully there was only one casualty...nothing that a dot or two of hot glue won't fix...
and as luck would have it...right on schedule to be packed up again and join his Round 2 chums for another journey to France...this time by a "fingers crossed" more reliable...efficient and customer service friendly courier...
time to take a deep breath and crack on with the photo-shoot...
the dreaded step-by-steps...
tidy up a week of sewing mayhem...
and get back to the papercrafting list of things to do while I await the arrival of the nice man from UPS
Bon Voyage Mes Amies...safe travels
Hugs Kath xxx

  2. Happy to hear the parcel made its way back to you. I'm usually at the receiving end when it comes to missing parcels, although in the past 8 years, there's only one parcel (from the Netherlands) that never reached its destination here in Crete. I've had a parcel sent back to the US from the UK (someone at SSS had apparently mixed up GR and GB) while the second part of the same order was forwarded from the UK to Greece... Keeping my fingers crossed your parcel will receive its destination this time (and asap).

  3. Hi Kath,
The poor box looks a bit traumatised. Thank goodness there were only a couple of minor casualties when it finally limped home. It's so sad when a courier let's you down like that. I've got fingers and toes crossed that your new courier gets it right.

  7. Good grief Kath, did they let an elephant sit on your poor parcel while they buggered about with it?! Thank goodness there was only one minor casualty and here's hoping UPS does a better job of delivering that precious cargo (although they would be hard pressed to muck it up any worse than Hermes!)
